  TOMAS LACKE Born 1976, Åkersberga, Sweden Studio: Galleri Lacke, Stora Säby Gård, Åkersberga, Sweden Membership: BUS, SVK, KIR Lacke is a Swedish self-taught artist in both painting and sculpture. He has been active since the 90s and has his studio in Åkersberga where he also lives. In his painting, we find large abstract and figurative works in a mix of warm earthy colors, but Lacke is perhaps most characterized by his sculptures cut out of steel that are silhouetted against our nature or as a foreground to his painting. Today he is represented by the Swedish galleries Roddarhuset, Melefors, Nordic Art, Sjöhästen, Barbro of Sweden and Gallery Rødhusgården in Denmark and Gallery Aurelia in London.
